Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents a framework that aims to support several steps of learning activities. It provides means for teachers to organize contents, to produce various tests, to adapt them and finally to transfer these to their students. A component created for students to use allows these to easily access the contents previously created by the tutor and to fulfill the assessment tasks. Working either on mobile and non-mobile devices, Test-IT, allow users learn ubiquitously and to proceed with their work at any time and place. We describe the main requirements for using such tool on mobile devices and comment some of the current approaches. The design process and the frameworks various components, focusing particularly on the user interface and usability issues, are addressed. The paper also points its attention to the flexibility provided by Test-IT on allowing users to create their own specific applications, according to their field or subject of expertise. |
